Yusef-Andre Wiley
Yusef-Andre Wiley was born in 1969 and raised in Los Angeles, California, in a Christian household. At the age of 13, Andre started associating with gang members. Andre later became Muslim, taking on the name "Yusef", and it was his Islam that took him away from the destructive lifestyle of gangs and to a more purposeful, honorable way of living. Yusef has now been working for many years to end gang violence through intervention programs and developing housing structures for the formerly incarcerated and homeless populations in and around the Los Angeles area. He is the creator and co-founder of the successful Timelist Group, a nonprofit that has helped many people turn away from a detrimental lifestyle through its non-faith-based rehabilitation courses.

He has studied the Islamic sciences under Shaykh Salek Siddina Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, Shaykh Rami Nsour and has in turn taught hundreds of students and developed Islamically-based rehabilitation programs, including "Rehab on the Sunnah". The experience that Yusef has from his own youth and from teaching the Islamic Sciences to prisoners allows him to share relevant and inspiring real-life anecdotes with young people about the benefits of Islam. He is a walking example of Islam's ability to help turn believers' lives around, Praise be to God! and many teenagers have commented about how he inspires and motivates them to be better.

Yusef has gained an AA degree in Small Business Management as well as a paralegal degree. Yusef is a proud father former High School teacher of Islamic studies at Averroes High School, now Certified Public Speaker, Mentor and Life Coach of the John Maxwell Team, CEO/President of Timelist, Inc and business owner of YW Consultants, LLC residing with his wife and family in the North Valley Los Angeles Area.
